Wednesday was the launch of Manchester Camerata’s business network, Camerata Connect. An innovative idea that combines likeminded businesses with world class musicians, the Camerata Connect vision was unveiled at UKFasts wonderful head office. A great evening was had by all attendees; however the highlight was the stunning collaboration by Saint Saviour and members of Camerata.I was given the privilege to speak in front of the guests and explain why Trust IV decided to support Camerata Connect. We were mightily impressed with their teams vision to build relationships with businesses in Manchester. We are extremely lucky to work in a city that has world class organisations in sport, entertainment and music. The Camerata hold their place in this bracket not only for their prowess on the stage, but also for their work off it. They work extensively in the community and go that extra mile in providing musical opportunities for children across the city. For a company like us, giving back to our community is of huge importance. With Camerata Connect we are able to do this.On the stage, we were treated to stunning performance by (former Groove Armada lead singer) Saint Saviour and Camerata. The quirkiness of Saint Saviours and the classical tones of Camerata may not be seen as your typical binary. However, the two blended seamlessly together and created a unique vitality and sound that captivated the audience. Playing songs off her new album, In the Seams, the performance epitomised why we decided to get involved with this organisation. It was different, contemporary and unique! There was a substantial turn out and the network opportunities differed majorly compared to the usual sterile marketing events! If this first event is anything to go by, the future will be bright for Camerata Connect!I would also like to take this opportunity to that our guest for the support shown by our guests; Jamie and Amy from Pixel 8, Paul from ComputerPeople, Chris and Steve from Belle Vue Speedway and Ian from Webbo Ltd.I finished my speech with an acronym. I hope everybody in attendance will remember the new meaning of M A N C I T Y…If anybody requires more information about Camerata Connect please contact Claire Barlow.
