Trust IV has again been invited to present at a customer session at HP Discover. HP Discover is Hewlett-Packard's showcase technology event for customers and regularly attracts more than 10,000 delegates to the European event, which this year was held in Barcelona.
Gordon Appleby and Richard Bishop were asked to host a breakout session to talk about their experiences in cloud-based performance testing. They described the increased adoption of the cloud as an application-testing platform as well as the evolution of HP’s cloud-based testing products.
All of HP’s performance testing tools are based on the market leading test tool, LoadRunner. The presentation described the differences and similarities between on-premise LoadRunner, cloud-based LoadRunner, StormRunner and Performance Center and described the circumstances which might encourage adoption of one of these products over another.
The presentation slides are now available on Slideshare and will soon be available as an on-demand webinar.
Towards the end of the session they demonstrated the use of Trust IV’s LoadRunner in the Cloud platform which allows customers to provision their own licensed, testing servers on-demand, reducing total cost of ownership and allowing test teams to respond quickly and effectively to changes in test requirements.
