On 12th June at HP Discover, I attended a lecture session led by Shane Evans and Silvia Siquiera. During the presentation, they introduced the new features of LoadRunner 11.52.

To be honest the performance was poor, testing it certainly was, not so much wiggling, quite a lot of mountain and certainly mayhem.

My followers on Twitter and LinkedIn will already be aware that I went to the HP Discover conference in Las Vegas last week. They’ll have heard tales of lost baggage, extreme “jet-lag induced tiredness” (body-clock waking me at 3:30 every morning) as well as various updates from the conference.

During the installation of LoadRunner, if you select "Allow virtual users to run on this machine without user login", the LoadRunner agent will run as a Windows system service called "LoadRunner Agent Service". If you choose "Manually log in to the Load Generator ", the LoadRunner agent will be run as a process named magentproc.exe.
